Resilience

This has been a theme in my thoughts since the sycamore I wrote about last week was cut down. When I was painting the after effects of the felling of the trees at Crosstown I have also watched this wychelm on the Meadows in Edinburgh which has disease, but struggles and produces prolific leaves every year. It tells me a lot about survival.
